Life in the Hood...

I havent used this forever, I may start again.

Its been awhile

I know I say this every time, but its been too long since I last posted. Quite a few things have gone on since I last posted. This last semester at school(which has been over for almost a month now) was killer. I had to take 5 classes instead of the normal 4, all while working 30 something hours a week. Stupid insurance requires me to be a full time student, so the advisor gave me an extra class to make the 12 credits I needed. It just so happened to be tennis/racquetball. Anyway, I gotta start thinking about where I want to transfer to after I get my associates in the specialties that I am in. It will be a while yet because in order to get an associates at LCCC you need to take 6 classes a semester. Which is pretty impossible, especially while working.

So now that school is out I work full time until it starts again. So in the month of June, Solar Technology was trying to push an crazy amount on products out the door in order to get the company back on track after the VERY slow winter season. We always see a slow down starting in september/october, but It was almost dead this year. So we tried to get out something like 1.5 times what we normally do this time of year. We were supposed to do this with 2/3rds of the amount of employees. So in order to get the amount of products out we were working 60 hours a week if not a little more. Its real good money, but it really kills. And thats why I get real excited when the weekend comes around, because I can relax and hang with friends.

And that means do FUN stuff, like fireworks. Because I was working so much I was not able to take a roadtrip out to Indiana, where the best fireworks shop is that I know of. Shelton Fireworks. You can spend very little money and still get a crazy amount of the good stuff. So I got a ton of cheap bottle rockets that should last me awhile. I also got some mortars, roman candles, and black kat fire cracker type things. They should all be fun to celebrate the holiday. We haven’t decided on a fun place to light them at although I tested a few out last night. It puts a smile on my face everytime I see them go off.

So that about sums up what’s been going on in the hood over the last month or so. Hopefully I will be more prompt with my next Tumbl, but no guarantees.

New Macbook Pro!

So I got a new macbook pro this week. I started it up and away it went. I love it. First Photobooth picture will be up after this post.

So this week has been pretty eventful again. A good friend of mine is now single so we get to hang out with some friends that were lost for a while. That is always fun and apparently doing a little bit of “stuff” with a girl that you have known for quite a while is an invitation for her to pretty much make you everything she is about. Im not totally down for that, but I guess I asked for it. 

Thanksgiving went well, al the family was over and I ate at a friends house which was good also. The more turkey the better. I still have no idea what I want for christmas. Im usually pretty set for what I want and I honestly have no clue what I want. 

Hopefully I will start to update more regularly now that school is coming to an end. Going to do homework now.
